Paulino Ipanaqué Martel

Paulino Ipanaqué Martel, «Martel», was born in Catacaos and graduated from the «Ignacio Merino» school of fine arts in Piura in 1987. His work is a veneration of nature: flowers, landscapes and still lifes in thick, almost material brushwork and vehement colour, red above all, which have drifted towards a lyrical abstraction.
