Kayo

Claudio Olaya Luna, «Kayo», was born in Corrales, Tumbes, and studied drawing and painting at the «Ignacio Merino» school of fine arts in Piura. He paints the sea and life in northern Peru: fishermen, boats on the shore, fields, hills and the female figure, in the warm colours and light of the north coast. He works in watercolour, oil and thickly laid acrylic, with brush and palette knife.
